Odds in Three Formats — How to Read Them
The same odds can be written three ways: Decimal, Fractional, and American. The table below compares all three formats side by side.
Decimal 3.00 = Fractional 2/1 = American +200. If you win, total return is ৳1,500 (৳1,000 profit + ৳500 original stake). If you lose, ৳500 is gone.
Decimal 1.25 = Fractional 1/4 = American -400. In American format, the minus (-) sign means how much you need to stake to win ৳100 — here it is ৳400. On a ৳500 stake, total return is ৳625 (৳125 profit).
Odds for the three selections: 1.70 × 1.80 × 1.90 = 5.81 (approximate). If all are correct, a ৳100 stake returns ৳581. If any one is wrong, the full ৳100 is lost.
